Mia Lehrer’s new office by the LA River

Mia Lehrer: great to see her new office. She is a design hero to me, with a vision that goes forward 50 or 100 years. I remember last year, she smirked when she discussed the ‘for profit’ side of her studio, since so much of their work is Pro Bono. She was very diplomatic, but I wonder how she feels about Star Architect Frank Gehry’s recent involvement with the LA River. I think she has been at the forefront of projects focused on “Greening” the river for at least 20 years.
