What matters most now?

When we strive to make changes in the deep elements of our lives, it is a good idea to ‘check in,’ to see if our life mission has been shifting without us being aware of it.

A way to explore this is to consider the question, “What matters most now?”

What is your first thought about this? It could be something automatic like, “my family matters most.” Or, if you are starting your first ‘real job,’ you might say, “my job matters most.”  But if we are going to expend a lot of energy to make changes, or if change is foisted upon us, the answer might surprise us.

This is inspired by “Creating: a guide to the Creative Process,” by Robert Fritz.
