I was asked to write about a recent failure last year, and the first thing that came to mind was that as much I loved building my first 3d printer from a kit, and getting it to run, it also enslaved me–the learning curve is steep, the technical problems can overwhelm, but still, it is anew and wonderful way to make new things.
